Applications for the Oregon Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association (OTOBA) 4rd annual scholarship program are now available on our website.
OTOBA’s “Investing in the Future” scholarship program was developed to encourage students to enter the equine industry, whether as trainers, veterinarians, broadcasters or in other horse-related fields. The scholarship fund awards one $1,000 scholarship and two $500 scholarships. Winners will be selected on the basis of their interest in a career in the equine industry, academic standing, a 200 word essay, and two reference recommendation statements. Scholarships will be awarded at the discretion of the OTOBA Scholarship Awards Committee. Students entering an equine field of study are preferred.
