Something for Everyone at Annual Show June 2-5
by Sally Sutherland
The Spring Fling and Derby are in the books and the Washington Reining Horse Association now moves on to their second show of the season in Monroe, WA June 2—5. The Classic, sponsored by Maria Danieli Real Estate and Timberland Homes, will have both NRHA approved and club classes so there is something for all levels of reiners. Friday evening will feature both the John Slack memorial Beginning Rider Buckle class and the Open Rider Maturity for horses 7 years of age and over. Saturday afternoon will have the non-professional riders’ maturity class along with classes for the youth riders. There are several classes for Arabian horses, 50- and-over riders and wonderful prizes to be won. Check out the web site, wrha.net, for all the details and come try the sport of reining, or at least drop by to watch the action.
The WRHA would like to thank our marvelous sponsors: Diamond sponsors David and Terri Stroud, Sky River Equestrian Center, Timberland Homes and Maria Danieli Real Estate. Platinum sponsors Rhodes River Ranch, Heritage General Building Contractors, Presco Telecommunications, Red Pony Insurance, Evergreen Equine and Stancik Non Pros. and Gold Sponsors Eric Carlson DDS and Rocking E Feeds.
