Club Wins Grant from AQHA for the Third Year in a Row
WSQHA applied for and was the winner of the AAA Grant from AQHA for the third year in row. This was an
exciting project as our four WSQHA youth Ambassadors learned how to write a grant as part of the application. We are excited to announce that we will be holding a Youth Summit August 10/11 in Monroe, Washington. This 2-day event will be free and open to all youth within our region. We invite all 4H, WAHSET, OHSET, Pony Club and youth of all breed associations to join us. Scholarships are available for travel and hotel from Alaska and hotel only from Idaho, British Columbia and Oregon. Topics will range from team building, to effective communication. This is a chance for all youth to be ambassadors for the equine world.
