WSQHA is pleased to announce that Ashley Davidson, age 15, has been named Emerald Queen. Presentation and crowning took place during the evening festivities prior to the Emerald Master’s Futurity event at the Monroe, WA fairgrounds.
Ashley Davidson is a 15-year-old sophomore from Burbank, WA. She has been a member of WSQHA for 9 years. She is a member of 4-H, an honor-roll student and is vice president for the sophomore class.
Ashley loves to ride and show her horse Heza Guilty Pleasure aka: George. Her favorite classes are horsemanship and western pleasure. She is very grateful for her parents and grandparents support.
As WSQHA Ambassador, Ashley’s duties will include outreach, interaction and support to the equine community at various events throughout the state. She will also provide awareness and promotion of the Washington State Quarter Horse Association and its affiliate youth association. The Emerald Queen receives a $500.00 scholarship sponsored by the WSQHA along with prizes sponsored by supporters.
