The search for a good horse is an exhausting and frustrating experience. You spend hours online scrolling through horse-for-sale websites, thumb through horse magazines, and talk on the phone. Then spend more hours driving (or flying) all over the country to try out horses that end up not meeting your needs. What you need is a place and time where top prospects can be found all under one roof. Well, guess what? You can!

August 28-29, 2020 in Livingston, Montana (just north of Yellowstone National Park) is the League of Legends Invitational Horse and Stock Dog Sale. League of Legends are known for their list of outstanding horses consisting of seasoned money earners with points in just about every western event: team ropers, breakaway ropers, reiners, cutters, Ranch Versatility horses, sorting horses, barrel racers, top ranch horses and exceptional trail horses.

The fourth annual sale will be held at the historic Heart K Land and Cattle Company Arena. League of Legends is hosted by Western Lifestyle Insurance and Turner Performance Horses and is far from the typical horse sale. This intimate sale consists of 65 horses and one working border collie.

League of Legends pride themselves in providing buyers with a selection of elite horses for horsemen of every age and experience level. Whether you’re a seasoned competitor, non-pro, working ranch, or recreational horseman you’ll find the perfect horse at this sale. Thirty of the offered horses come from sale host Turner Performance Horses (TPH). You can schedule an appointment to try multiple levels of horses at one time and see many of the TPH horses compete up until the sale.

To ensure high-quality horses, League of Legends invited some of their friends to consign at this year’s sale. These consignors represent the best of the best, from real working ranch cowboys whose talents are demonstrated day in and day out on the ranch, to those who are found in the performance arena such as AQHA and APHA World Champions, top-industry trainers in a multitude of events, plus PRCA and NFR rodeo competitors.

If you’re unable to meet up before the sale, League of Legends offers their “casual Friday” August 28th, from 10:00 a.m. until noon. There will be a short rope horse preview and from 1:00-5:00 p.m. you’ll have the opportunity to meet and interact one-on-one with the horses and consignors. Sale day, August 29, begins at 8:00 a.m. with the trail horse competition, ranch horse challenge, stock dog demo and the sales preview. Lunch will be provided by Running Horse Feeds to those with buyer numbers.

At 3:00 p.m. the sale begins with 2019 yearling buckskin gelding Dry Sugar Tivio. Fifty percent of his proceeds will go to the Montana High School Rodeo Association. Trail and ranch horse champions will be awarded as well as the Super Horse, where individuals with buyers’ numbers are given the chance to be the judge!

Each buyer will receive a Cannon Falls Trailers swag bag loaded with goodies from our sponsors as their way of saying thank you! Live feed and phone bidding will also be available.
