Remembering Summer Fun on the Beach
On July 29th, 27 people and 19 horses departed from varying places in the Northwest to meet at Nehalem Bay State Park at the Oregon Coast. In 2011, we had 17 people and 16 horses. This year, we had a lot of fun in 4 nights of camping and 3 days of fulfilling rides. We enjoyed the company of all who attended, the horses performed well and were exposed to many elements of nature and physical challenge.
The weather cooperated for most of the time we were there and each day presented its own challenges for the horses and riders as we tried different paths through the inland bay and along the beach south to the jetty 3 miles from camp. It was another fantastic trip.
In 2014, we look forward to venturing as a group to Southern Utah and the red canyon lands of that beautiful state—the marvels of nature with its many trails to offer.
The next event for the ABHA is our 7th Annual Banquet and Business meeting on November 2nd. We look forward to meeting up with all our friends and family at this annual event. To learn more visit blazerhorse.com.
