A Tradition Continues
By Lisa Gardner
WSQHA is proud to continue the tradition of the Northwest Emerald Masters Futurity due to the generosity of our sponsors. We will continue the Saturday, September 10th, evening performance. This event is held in conjunction with the NW Emerald Quarter Horse Show and hosts a full slate of National Snaffle Bit Association (NSBA) Futurities. Once again Machine Made, along with owners Dr. Candice Hall and Dr. Cory Seebach, will be hosting the Saturday night masters party. This year’s $3,500.00 Open Money class is sponsored in memory of Corinna Girling and the $2,500.00 will be proudly sponsored by Continental Dirt LLC.
As always, 100% of the entry fees will be added to the total purse for the class. NSBA approval will be offered with the Open and the Limited Divisions taking home NSBA bronze trophies. NSBA membership must be sent at the time of entry. The 2016 NW Emerald Masters will be a “one-go” event, three western pleasure experts will be judging: Michael Covin, Michelle Pearson and Tonya Green. This class, as well as all futurities, are open to all registered two-year-old Quarter Horses, Paints, and Appaloosas.
