Kick-off Event to Introduce AQHA Rookie Program
The goal of the WSQHA “Rookie” horse show, tentatively scheduled for June 9-10, in Spanaway, Washington, is to introduce the new AQHA Rookie Program and help newcomers feel comfortable enough to attend the Regional Experience Show. This show will be the headliner for the Rookie classes being offered at the Regional Experience show in Washington, August 2012. This show will also be an all-novice show with a full slate of rookie classes. Our 2-day event is scheduled for June 9-10, 2012 and features clinicians as mentors. Mentors will include amateurs/youth and Washington state-wide Professional Horsemen who will later be attending
the Regional Experience Show. Clinics will include: How to Ride or Prepare for Patterns; How to Fill out that Horse Show Entry/Surviving the Office Experience; How to Groom for that Special Look; and Dress for Success (inexpensive ideas for show outfits and tips for hair/ makeup). After the clinics, kick back and relax at a hosted lunch which includes time for a question and answer session from the morning’s events. For more information visit our website: WSQHA.com
