The EHV-1 outbreak put a crimp in everyone’s show schedule, including Washington Reining Horse Association. The Classic, originally scheduled for June 3-5, has been rescheduled for August 19-21, still to be held at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe. Coming up in July is a show with our affiliate partner Reining Horse Association of the Northwest, July 15-17 in Moses Lake. While this show will not count towards WRHA Year End Awards, it is a qualifying show, in addition to the Spring Fling and The Classic, for the NRHA Regional Affiliate Finals. WRHA members are not required to compete in the July RHANW show, but points from that show will be added to the totals from WRHA shows and may assist in qualifying for those who wish to compete in the NHRA Regional Affiliate Finals and NRHA North American Affiliate Championships. Visit www.wrha.net for more club information.
