ABHA Wins at the Idaho Snake River Stampede
As the Snake River Stampede celebrated its 100-year anniversary, the American Blazer Horse Association celebrated bringing home 1st place in the Family Horse Club Division of this year’s Stampede parade. This is especially meaningful for ABHA members because the Blazer horse and the organization was created and founded here in Idaho.
Members of the ABHA and their beautiful horses sparkled in the sunshine wearing the club colors of gold and black. Blazer horses have proudly participated in the annual Snake River Stampede parade over the past six years. The organization has placed in the top three for this division every time we have participated in the parade.
“The ABHA strives to show the public that it is truly a horse club where the whole family can come ride and have fun. In the past we have had children as young as 5 years old and adults as young as 72 years of age riding their Blazers in this parade,” states ABHA president Bessie Fletcher.
