Life has a way of reminding us that we’re not always in control.

This week, I’m heading back to Washington for a family loss—something that came far too soon and at a time that’s anything but convenient.

It’s made me stop and reflect on something I’ve struggled with for years… planning ahead.
|
Between work, horses, and everyday responsibilities, I’ve stayed busy—but not always focused on what truly matters. And now, preparing to step away, I’m seeing just how valuable even a little preplanning can be.

Especially when you have animals depending on you.
|
This isn’t a heavy message—it’s a real one.
|
A reminder to take the time, make a plan, and not wait to enjoy the things that matter most… including your horses.
