October 2023 - Many of us dislike change and often do what we can to avoid it. However, change allows us to respond to our world and influence that change for a better tomorrow. We believe this to be true as well for the Northwest Horse Source and our family of readers, members, and advertisers.
While most of us love the feel of a book in our hands, we find ourselves living in an increasingly digital world. Our hope is to continue to give our readers the information they want for a rewarding relationship with their horse, while we give our advertisers the best value for their advertising dollars.
Rest assured we will continue to have your back and best interest at heart as we move ahead with plans to become an all-online resource.
So what does this mean for you?
Northwest Horse Source will be a 12-month digital edition as it was in 2021.
Advertising will be less expensive in the digital version, and as we focus on our online presence, has the potential of reaching more people. (See attached Price Sheet)
These changes will be in effective with our January 2024 issue.
Our extensive collection of over 3,000 articles will still be available online, as well as our 2015-present digital edition archive.
I will be contacting all advertisers about the best options to take advantage of the online resources we have to offer. Our online traffic is over 15,000 viewers a month and a very effective way to promote your business. Quality editorial matters.
I am truly grateful for the support we have enjoyed over the past 28 years and look forward to an ongoing and mutually beneficial future together!
